My Grandma’s Dog, Tippy
May 18, 2008 by Meretta
Once upon a long time ago, my grandma had a dog named Tippy. Tippy was a little chihuahua and what she lacked in size she compensated for with “bark”. My dad wasn’t exactly fond of Tippy (I’m sure the feeling was mutual), but Grandma and I loved her to bits. She was a great little companion.
I haven’t thought of Tippy in years (she’s been gone for almost two decades), but we were at the movies today and this trailer came on…I think the girls and I will be going.

Aww, that looks cute!
Have you ever read the books with the character Skippyjon Jones? They’re about a Siamese cat who thinks he’s a chihuahua.
No, I haven’t, but I’m going to look them up. My girls love this kind of stuff. Me, too.
LOL!
I’m usually a big dog fan, but if the chihuahuas I met had been like those I might have formed a different opinion. And I LOVE Skippyjon Jones! More than my kids do, I think
You have a real theater where you are, Meretta?? I’m soooo jealous!
Ah yes, we have a real theatre. I think there are even 3-4 screens in it.
